The issue of HIV expertise involves several challenging questions: What is an HIV expert? Should HIV clinicians be accredited or otherwise officially recognized? From which disciplines should future generations of HIV clinicians come, and how should they be trained? To discuss these issues, ACC convened a group of HIV experts from diverse medical backgrounds and perspectives.
