CD4 Recovery: How Low Can You Start -- and How High Can You Go?

Two studies provide a complex picture of immunologic recovery, one suggesting that CD4-cell count gains level off after a few years of therapy, the other suggesting that these gains can continue through 4 years in patients with sustained virologic suppression.
