Prevalence of Coreceptor Use in Treatment-Naive Patients
Treatment-naive patients with more-advanced HIV infection were more likely to harbor dual-tropic virus at baseline than were those with less-advanced disease. Nevertheless, there was no appreciable difference in response to antiretroviral therapy based on coreceptor status.
