The study for deteection of resistance to AZT VS TENOFOVIR is interesting. AZT the most widely used drug is subject to a lot of toxicity, and gastro upsets. Safety of the drug though assured it is not capable of eliminating larger volumes of viral load and thus is also responsible for a hiher incedence of resistance.
