Rightly said that TB is not HIV and vice versa. daily administering drugs requires motivation and desire of the patients to live healthily more so in the case of HIV. large scale dispensing of drugs to all patients with low CD4 count with a poor socioeconomic and poor literacy has serious effects on the resistance and action of the drug. daily monitoring is essential to save the future generation PLHAs of serious drug failure. Protease inhibitors are definitely the best choice but prohibitive cost is the limiting factor. May be the day is not far to launch subcutaneous slow releasing drug implants
